Fantastic opportunity for a creative young person to take part in a PAID six-month internship at The Boo. Closing date for applications 31st August 2014.
The Artistic Directors at Horse + Bamboo Theatre are looking for a Theatre Production Assistant to provide artistic support in creating masks, puppets, costume and animation for our productions, and support for activities and events at our family-friendly venue in Rossendale, Lancashire. This is a paid internship, 30 hours per week for 6 months.

Please share/pass on to anyone you think might be interested…The Artistic Directors at Horse + Bamboo Theatre are looking for a Theatre Production Assistant to provide artistic support in creating masks, puppets, costume and animation for our productions, and support for activities and events at our family-friendly venue in Rossendale, Lancashire. This is a paid internship, 30 hours per week for 6 months.Please note: there are particular criteria you must meet in order to be eligible to apply for this internship.At the time of applying you must be aged 18-24 years old and you must be registered as unemployed with Jobcentre Plus.We are looking for someone with a strong interest in the visual arts and a confident maker, who also has a positive, enthusiastic attitude to working. This might be in animation, textiles or 3D design. They will need to be someone who is happy to take instruction and to generally help out with whatever is being worked on, and also comfortable working by themselves. They will need to be willing and interested in working with children and families in workshop situations, and also be happy to assist with administrative tasks when necessary.
