UK/ Edinburgh Festival Fringe – Photography Opportunity
1st – 25th August 2014
The Fringe Society wishes to commission a photographer to cover the 2014 Fringe – covering a variety of shows (to be agreed), the Virgin Money Street Events on the High Street and Mound, Fringe Society events, the cityscape and the atmosphere of the city.
The successful applicant must be available throughout August (01-25) and ideally slightly in advance to get build up shots and be in Edinburgh – some events will take place in the evening and weekends; must have a mixed portfolio capturing people, live events, and landscape; must be tenacious, creative, patient, able to direct, and willing to spend time outside on the High Street/mound around Edinburgh in good weather and bad. Experience of photographing live theatre would be an advantage.
Applicants must be available to discuss the commission including pricing and to present their existing portfolio in July.
