UK/ Dmitry Krymov Lab – Opus No. 7
Tonight’s last night of Dmitry Krymov Laboratory’s Opus No.7 at the Norfolk & Norwich Festival is a sell out but there’s still a chance to catch up with this remarkable production – including a monstrous Mother Russia puppet – at the Barbican during the London International Festival of the Theatre (LIFT 2014) 4th – 14th June 2014 (extensive coverage on the LIFT website here: http://liftfestival.com/content/32164/lift_2014/opus_no7/opus_no7_br_414_june__dmitry_krymov_lab_russia)
and at the Northern Stage in Newcastle, 19th – 21st June. This is a spectacular, beautiful and intelligent production, technically and visually stunning. The text is in Russian but this is no barrier – the translation on stage is clear and unobtrusive – subtitles really have come of age in the UK.

Dmitry Krymov will co-host a workshop with Michael Boyd at the Barbican in London on 14th June (an event organised by LIFT) but no further details are available at the moment.

The Dmitry Krymov Lab will be back at the Barbican in November with A Midsummer Night’s Dream, booking now open.
