Celebrating a Year of 'What a Puppet Can Do' – And Continuing Bi-Monthly in 2025!
Next Webinar 5 May 2025
As we move through 2025, British UNIMA takes a moment to reflect on an incredible series of webinars that took place throughout 2024 under the banner of What a Puppet Can Do – applied puppetry in theory and practice. Organised by the UNIMA Education, Development and Therapy Commission, this series brought together leading practitioners, scholars, and enthusiasts from across the globe to explore the transformative potential of puppetry in education, development, and therapy.
From February to November 2024, six thought-provoking webinars delved into diverse aspects of applied puppetry. These sessions offered an enriching space for discussions, knowledge-sharing, and hands-on exploration of puppetry’s role in healing, learning, and social engagement. Our very own British UNIMA Chair, Cariad Astles, contributed to this inspiring line-up, sharing her expertise on Puppetry Healing Stories in Hospital Care in April.
