Our doors will be open for a warm welcome. Come along and see the Mask Exhibition – Maskit in our theatre – and there will be drop-in Children's Mask Making (see full details below) in our cafe.
MASKIT EXHIBITION: Free Entry – A touring exhibition of newly designed masks of the traditional stock characters of the Commedia Dell'Arte by David Griffiths.
CHILDREN'S MASK ACTIVITY: Why not come along and see the exhibition in our theatre and then have a coffee in our cafe with some homebaking, while the children colour-in a mask, at the cafe tables. Children's masks £1.50 each. There will be different designs to choose from and/or you can also buy a mask to take home, which we are selling to raise funds towards our new theatre plans on site.
SCHOOLS & GROUPS: The exhibition will be on display at SMPC Mon 19-Wed 28 May for school / group visits and workshops by prior arrangement in mask making and Commedia performance with the mask for further details please contact Sarah Lee at SMPC 0141 339 6185.
