CANADA/ 2014 Arlyn Award

The winner of the international 2014 Arlyn Award for Outstanding Design in Puppet Theatre is ROBIN FROHARDT (USA) for
“The Pigeoning”.

The jury remarked that: ““The design aesthetic for The Pigeoning has a satisfying unity and economy as fresh and unique as the story itself. The sets are unfussy but effective and the puppet of the main character, Frank, seems well-suited to the action required, lending itself to some very stylish manipulation. The underwater ‘creatures’ are a bonus.”

Certificates of Recognition for Design in Puppet Theatre were awarded to:

MARIA BARIC, PETRI SAUNIO, and NEMANJA STOJANOVIC (Finland) for “Phoenix the Firebird”
